Formal jacket which was part of the wedding costume worn by actor Ben Turland as Hendrix Greyson in the Australian television series Neighbours in 2022.
Worn during his onscreen wedding to Mackenzie Hargreaves (Georgie Stone), which is significant as the first representation of a transgender character marrying on an Australian fictional program. The wedding was filmed in the Japanese Garden at Melbourne Zoo, with post wedding photographs inside the Butterfly House.
As is the practice of the Neighbours wardrobe department, the majority of the pieces were sourced locally, representing the popular wedding styles and labels of Melbourne grooms in the early 2020s.

Black Alexander McQueen suit jacket, made of textured black and grey wool/synthetic blend fabric, lined in polyester. Reverse of collar in black leather. Two outer pockets on proper right, one on proper left plus inner chest pocket. Single plastic button to fasten at front.
