Kodak Melbourne Memories - Pat Hogan, 1941-1981

This 3:41-minute digital story tells the story of Pat Hogan and his time working for Kodak Australasia.

Pat Hogan joined the company as a branch accountant in the Head Office Department in Melbourne and then was later Company Secretary and Treasurer. He started work at Kodak's Abbotsford factory then spent several years with the army during World War II, in the 1940s, before returning to his job at Kodak. Pat subsequently worked at the Coburg factory in Melbourne. He worked at Kodak Australasia for 40 years, between 1941 and 1981.

Pat Hogan was interviewed as part of the Kodak oral history project. This digital story is an edited extract from the original 2 hour 52 minute oral history interview.

The images shown are part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, after the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
