In 1915-1918 a Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd branch store was opened in  in leased premises in Wickham Street, Fortitude Valley. Mr J. Millar was manager. He was replaced by Mr Box (Mr Cox) in 1920, and he by Mr H. Scanlon in 1923.

In 1958 Kodak moved its wholesale warehouse and showroom from Queen Street in the centre of Brisbane to the corner of St Paul's Terrace and Kennigo Street in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. The new modern, air-conditioned building consisted of ground floor stock and order assembly, first floor showrooms, second floor photo-finishing laboratory and a rooftop with lunchroom facilities for staff. It also had off-street parking.
