Ann Wennrich was the film Librarian at Channel 7 in the mid-1950s. She undertook part time study at RMIT and changed over to be being a full time photographer by the 1960s. Wennrich was one of the few women in the 1950s and 1960s to make a living as a commercial photographer in Melbourne. She was engaged by Channel 7 to photograph all the live shows at the time; Sunnyside Up, The Hit Parade, the Channel 7 Night Club Show and Bert Newton's first teenage appearances. She also shot the Disney Mouseketeers when they came to Australia, as well as many other celebrities who appeared on the Channel 7 shows during the 1950's and 1960's. Wennrich became a fashion photographer of some standing before retiring in the early 1970's. She died in 1975 at age 53.
