Lega Pty Ltd has been manufacturing corporate jewellery and presentation gifts in Australia since 1948, when it was founded by Richard Heron. His son Paul joined the business in 1969. Lega's products include medals, wall plaques, souvenir spoons, keyrings, shields, pins and name bars. Its work has been commissioned by industry, government departments and the armed forces.

Lega manufactured a medal in 1969 for the Military Historical Society of Australia to commemorate the first flight from London to Australia in 1919. Lega also made the original Dartnell Cross, Australia's highest award for Valour or Distinguished Conduct. The cross was designed by Lieutenant Robin Hale.
