No information about this business has been located. The Merry in this business is, however, thought to be the same as the principal of T.F. Merry & Co. W.J. Taylor of London, struck the tokens issued by Merry & Bush. The Museum Victoria catalogue gives the likely date of issue as 1863, but this date seems unlikely given that a man named T.F. Merry has been found to have opened a business in Brisbane that year.
