Summary

This boomerang is asymmetrical in form and the upper surface has grooves or fluting running along the entire length. This particular form is generally used for hunting and is not a returning boomerang.

Physical Description

An asymetrical boomerang made from a single piece of wood with slightly rounded ends. The upper surface is slightly concave and fluted (with 14 grooves) and the flat underside shows evidence of adzing. The number "5" is written in black ink on the upper surface.
