Red and yellow Kodak Community Service flag, once flown at the Kodak Australasia factory site at Abbotsford and/or Coburg.
This flag is part of the Kodak Heritage Collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
Kodak Australasia manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to the Australasia region, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.
Physical Description
Woven yellow material with red and black fabric lettering stitched onto face and obverse surfaces. Hemmed at end, with calico edging and cord for attaching to flag pole at the other.
