Summary

A certificate from the Plastics and Chemicals Industries Association Incorporated (PACIA), issued to Kodak Australasia certifying their membership, set to expire on 30 June 2005.

This certificate is part of the Kodak Heritage Collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.

Kodak Australasia manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to the Australasia region, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.

Physical Description

Black plastic frame with woodgrain look patterning and a glass cover. Certificate is white cardboard with a black border and photographic image watermark in the centre. There is a title bar below the PACIA logo with coloured photographic images. The certificate text is black and there is a red circle/star Common Seal with white text. There are six black plastic clasps holding the painted black particle board in place. There are two black metal hanging attachments and a fold out stand attached to the particle board back with metal fittings.
