Black mica condenser in original packaging. Alternative name is capacitor. A mica capacitor has several layers of metal foil plates that are separated by thin sheets of mica material, all encased in a plastic exterior.

Probably used in radio receivers to pass radio frequency signals but to block direct current (coupling).

Physical Description

A black plastic rectangular shaped object with two mounting loops (one broken). There are two screws and text on one side. The box has an image of the condenser and text on it.
