Summary

Stainless steel Triplex Syringe used for air and water delivery, manufactured by Ritter Dental Manufacturing Co. Inc. of Rochester, New York, U.S.A, circa 1930. In 1917 Ritter Dental paved the way for modern dental treatment systems with the development of the integrated treatment system based around the dental chair.

Previously owned by Dr Leopold Polack who operated a dental practice in Hawthorn, Victoria from the1950s-1970s.

Physical Description

Polished stainless steel nozzle and handpiece with a thumb lever. The tip has a rotating clamp piece over the nozzle end. One end has the remnants of a black cotton fabric sheathed red plastic tube which is surrounded by a spiral of flexible metal.
