Summary

Dual ended stainless steel dental scaler, manufactured, circa 1920.

Used to remove dental plaque, both ends have a curved (posterior) shank. The curved end assists in better accessing certain regions of the mouth.

Previously owned by Dr Leopold Polack who operated a dental practice in Hawthorn, Victoria from the1950s-1970s.

Physical Description

Thin stainless steel instrument with a fine curved point at each end. The central knurled section acts as a grip handle.
