Summary

Stainless steel dental scaler, manufactured in England, circa 1930-1950.

Used to remove dental plaque one end has a curved (posterior) shank. The curved end assists in better accessing certain regions of the mouth.

Previously owned by Dr Leopold Polack who operated a dental practice in Hawthorn, Victoria from the1950s-1970s.

Physical Description

Thin stainless steel instrument with a fine curved point at one end. The octagonal end of the instrument acts as a grip handle.
