Stainless steel dental scaler, manufactured, circa 1920.

Used to remove dental plaque one end has a rectangular plate tip that loosens and dislodges heavier plaque deposits with a scraping motion.

Previously owned by Dr Leopold Polack who operated a dental practice in Hawthorn, Victoria from the1950s-1970s.

Physical Description

Thin stainless steel instrument with a cylindrical tip at one end. The octagonal knurled end of the instrument acts as a grip handle.
