Stainless steel dental scaler, manufactured, circa 1920.
Chisel tip excavator used to remove dental plaque. The end has a curved (posterior) shank that assists in better accessing certain regions of the mouth.
Previously owned by Dr Leopold Polack who operated a dental practice in Hawthorn, Victoria from the1950s-1970s.
Physical Description
Thin stainless steel instrument with a fine curved point at one end. The octagonal knurled end of the instrument acts as a grip handle.
