Summary
Photograph of ten-year-old, Uma-tata-sunsis [Juan - later Janchiko] caught in the rain on Navarino Island in 1929. He was the son of Aia putilla schanaiensis [Domingo - surname not recorded] both of whom assisted Australian anthropologist, Sir Walter Baldwin Spencer and his secretary and field assistant, Ms Jean Hamilton, on what would be Spencer's final expedition. Spencer passed away shortly after this image was taken. [Duplicate at XP 8486]
