Photograph of Keats Sound taken aboard the 'Fortunato Viego' belonging to Messers Beban of Ushuaia, under Captain Emil Carsen on May 7th, 1929. Here they are travelling from Magallanes [Punta Arenas] to Navarino. The photographer, Australian Anthropologist Sir Walter Baldwin Spencer was embarking on what would be his final expedition, he passed away only a few months later on nearby Hoste Island.
