Summary
A high vacuum (hard) general purpose triode. It was one of the first 'dull emitter' valves made by Philips and branded 'Miniwatt' because of their lower filament consumption.

The 'II' in the type number is the Roman '2', thus this valve is referred to as 'B 2'. The use of Roman numerals was dropped in 1925.
