Triode designed for use as a grounded-grid frequency changer in radar receivers operating in the 1 to 3 GHz region. It has a 1.7 volt directly heated cathode. Used for both amplification and frequency changing.
Physical Description
Flanged copper clad steel envelope which has been sectioned to reveal a small directly heated triode structure with its grid connected to the envelope and its filament and anode brought out though four coaxial connections. The anode has two connections. Mounted on a display block.
