Summary
Sample of Cassia Fistula (Leguminosae) Bark. This was collected and prepared by T.N.Mukharji as part of his work for the Indian Botanical Gardens. It was donated to the Museum by the Indian Government, Calcutta in 1887.
Physical Description
Glass jar, cylindrical in shape, sealed with a black plastic screw lid. Contains pieces of hardened wood, light brown/red in colour. A Science Museum of Victoria label is adhered to the outside of the jar, on which the specimen name is handwritten in black ink.
