Summary
Sample of Spondias mangifera bark. This was collected and prepared by T.N.Mukharji as part of his work for the Indian Botanical Gardens. It was donated to the Museum by the Indian Government, Calcutta in 1887. Used for medicinal purposes.
Physical Description
Cylindrical glass jar containing sections of mid-brown segments of bark and sealed with a black plastic lid. Two printed white Science Museum of Victoria labels, with handwritten inscriptions in black ink, are adhered to the outside.
