Summary
Sample of Bombax malabaricum gum. This was collected and prepared by T.N.Mukharji as part of his work for the Indian Botanical Gardens. It was donated to the Museum by the Indian Government, Culcutta in 1887.
Physical Description
Cylindrical glass jar, sealed with a black plastic lid, containing irregular shaped pieces of dark brown gum. Two printed Science Museum of Victoria labels, with handwritten inscriptions in black ink, are adhered to the outside.
