Summary
Sample of Semecarpus anacardium (cashew) accesory fruit. This was collected and prepared by T.N.Mukharji as part of his work for the Indian Botanical Gardens. It was donated to the Museum by the Indian Government, Culcutta in 1887.
Physical Description
Cylindrical glass jar, sealed with a black plastic lid, containing dark brown, irregular shaped, glabrous nuts. A printed Science Museum of Victoria label, with handwritten inscription in black ink, is adhered to the outside.
