Summary
Sample of dried Butea frondosa (Leguminosae) flowers. This was collected and prepared by T.N.Mukharji as part of his work for the Indian Botanical Gardens. It was donated to the Museum by the Indian Government, Culcutta in 1887.
Physical Description
Cylindrical glass jar, sealed with a black plastic lid, containing faded yellow/brown, soft, dried flowers with fuzzy petals. A printed Science Museum of Victoria label, with handwritten inscriptions in black ink, is adhered to the outside.
