(T.H. Paget) in the field below the neck. The reverse depicts a lion standing facing left on a fallen two-headed dragon; in field above lion, 1939 1945; the artist's initials E.CR.P. (A. Carter Preston) in field to left of lion. The edge is impressed: V16171 J.L. GABORIT
