Summary
Bavarian War commemorative cross, 1918.
Also known as the Kriegserinnerungskreuz it was instituted by the Bavarian War Veterans' Association (Bayrischen Kriegerbund) in 1920 and was awarded until 1933. Recipients were required to buy their cross, however, its fine quality made it expensive to purchase so the number of medals acquired was relatively low.
