The Cross of Valor medal was established by the Council of National Defense on 11 August 1920. It was awarded to soldiers who displayed bravery and valour on the battlefield.
Obverse Description
Eagle in the centre with text on the cross arms: 'NA POLU CHWALY' (On the Field of Glory) and the date '1920'.
Reverse Description
Wreath in the centre with a vertical sword. Text on the cross arms: 'WALECZNYM' (To the Valiant) .
