Summary
Red, machine pressed brick with frog on one side. Made by the Auburn Brick Company of Auburn, Victoria. The company is known to have been in operation in 1952, when it was producing 230,000 bricks a week. According to an article published at that time, the works were "situated east of Gardiner Creek and Auburn Road, and north of Toorak Road."

Donated by Myles Whelan when his family scrap merchant and demolition company, Whelan the Wrecker, went into receivership in 1991.
