Summary

A computer game called The Bards Tale III: Thief of Fate. This is an adventure game in which the objective is destroy the Evil One.

This is a computer role-playing game, where a player can create a party of up to seven characters to explore a fantasy land that includes dungeons. The wide cast of characters includes paladins ( a white knight), clerics, wizards, thieves and bards. The party fights monsters to acquire treasure. At the start of the game, characters have very little experience. They acquires more experience during the course of the game, for example, new spells, enhanced abilities and greater physical power. The game can be saved so acquired characteristics are preserved for the beginning of the next game. Eventually the party completes the final mission.

It was also produced for the Commodore 64 computer system.

The game was collected because it is representative of games developed for the Apple II series of computers.

In 1983, the donor's parents gave him an Apple II Europlus. He used it for essays, medical school assignments and games.

A triple folder with a slot for two double sided disks and papers including a manual. an addendum Sheet, a circular three dial code wheel and an Apple II family getting started card.
