We have / been expecting some mail for / a wek now, it has not arrived yet. / Had a letter from Bill Pears / the other day. He is just as big / a hard case as ever. Has come / thro' his operation alright. / Cyril has been trying to / get into flying corps (suicide / club) but I just heard that / he has missed. He expected / to get it too, so I suppose he / will be disappointed. I believe / another mail has gone down / (?) here and Aust. That is the / second one recently and the only / two - I have an idea that the packets / I sent home were on it too but am not / certain yet. / Am still going good and feeling / it.
