Summary
This letter was sent by Annie Woodcock, mother of Phar Lap's strapper Tommy, to his trainer Harry Telford, enquiring after any news he may have about her son. Tommy had gone to North America as Phar Lap's stand-in trainer, and was with Phar Lap when he died.
The Telford family retained the letter, and it was donated to the museum in the 1990s.
