Summary
Poster promoting the Brunswick Koori Arts Festival, 1994, held at CERES, Centre for Education and Research in Environmental Strategies. The festival focused on the environmental and land care aspects of Koorie culture in an entertaining and informative way. Central themes included the care of the land and its plants and animals. Activities included traditional food tasting, wood burning designs, feather flower making, basket making, emu egg carving and face painting. The programme also included storytelling, dance demonstrations as well as talks on traditional medicines and dreamtime astrology.
