Summary

Rectangular loop aerial designed for use with the AWA Radiola Senior 6 radio. The cylindrical part at its base plugs into a socket on the top of the radio and is designed to allow the loop to be rotated to maximise the signal from a wanted station or to minimise interference from an unwanted one.

Physical Description

A wooden rectangular frame consisting of four square blocks at each corner, connected together by two wooden rods on each side. A brown sheathed wire is mounted in grooves and woven around the frame. One end of the wire is connected to a metal cylinder, the other end is connected to a receptacle mounted coaxially with the cylinder and insulated from it. The cylinder and receptacle fit the socket on the top of the Senior 6 radio.
