Summary
Wooden insert lined with velvet from a wooden box used to hold the contents of a portable toiletries set. The toiletries set was presented to John Andrew by members of the Glasgow Caithness-Shire Association as a mark of their esteem on leaving his native country, Glasgow, in November 1852.
Physical Description
Wooden insert with seven different sized compartments and to velvet lined sections with loops for holding implements in place. There is a leather tab at each end of the insert which allow it to be easily removed from the box it sits in.
