Summary
Enamelled badge worn by delegates to the National Eucharistic Congress in Melbourne in 1934, held as part of the celebrations for the Centenary of Melbourne. The Congress was organised by the Roman Catholic Church to bring together clergy and congregation.
Physical Description
Pointed oval badge, enamelled in blue and yellow. It depicts a white dove above an alter with a communion chalice, wafer, crucifix and bible. It is dated below the alter. Around the edge is the inscription identifying it as being from the National Eucharist Congress.
