Baptism Certificate issued by the Holy Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church in Bavaria to Natalia Pimenow on 24 December 1948. The certificate provides details relating to the the baptism of Natalia Nikolska, born 4 February 1893 and baptised 15 February 1893, and lists her parents' names, godparents' names, place of birth (Warschau, Poland) and name of priest. The certificate is in both Ukrainian and English.
Natalia Pimenow (nee Nikolska) was the daughter of Wladimir Nikolska (born Russia 1863) and Sofia Nikolska (born Poland 1865). She married Ukrainian born Dimitry Pimenow on the 13 November 1913 in Minsk, Russia. The couple had a daughter, Kateryna, born in Poland in 1915. From 1916 to 1929 the family lived in the Ukraine and then between 1929 to 1943 in Russia, moving to Germany in 1943. Following her husband's death and the end of World War Two in 1945 Natalia and her daughter Kateryna ended up in an International Refugee camp in Bavaria. They migrated to Australia in 1950 and were sent to Bonegilla Migrant Reception Centre on their arrival.
