Summary
Letter from Andrew Fisher, Prime Minister of Australia to H. V. McKay concerning the 1911 strike. Fisher says: "I should like to meet you in reference to the harvester industrial dispute. The reason for this intervention is a reasonable hope that a settlement on fair terms is possible." Dated 24 February 1911.

A sheet of cream watermarked paper, folded in half with the Commonwealth of Australia arms in red ink at the top of the page and the letter itself handwritten in black ink.
