Summary

Album or binder containing original prints and documents which appear to be related to Morotai Island, following the end of World War 2. Morotai is an island in the Halmahera group of eastern Indonesia's Maluku Islands. It is one of Indonesia's northernmost islands. It was a key location for American and Australian operations during World War 2. The Battle of Morotai part of the Pacific War, began when US troops originally landed on the island on 15 September 1944.

Black covered, three-ring binder with a label adhered to top right corner with handwritten inscription 'Richard Seeger Collection'. Contains 40 blue card sheets with 165 mounted photographs, some of which have beocme detached from their mounts; nine loose photographs; two maps and one certificate.
