Sheet of four Victorian Motor Spirit Ration Tickets, divided by perforations. Each ticket is a "SERIES / B / VALID IN ALL STATES", for 2 gallons. Fine print on each tickets reads "THIS TICKET MUST BE ENDORSED IN INK / BY CONSUMER WITH NAME, LICENCE NUMBER / AND VEHICLE REGISTRATION NUMBER". These particular tickets may date to 1941, when the 2 gallons tickets were printed in blue. Petrol rations tickets were first issued in October 1940 during World War II.
