Female staff from the Mutual Store Limited dressed for a fundraising event. They are wearing white bonnets and dresses. Each holds a wicker basket and 'Lucky Day Bag' coin collection box. The woman in the centre wears a 'MUTUAL' headband, an apron featuring a Mutual Store Limited emblem and holds a larger basket full of flowers. A street stall displaying handbags is behind the group and a section of the Mutual Store Limited building facade is visible in the background at the right. The facade of the Elizabeth Street entrance of Flinders Street Station can also be seen in the far background.
