The image is from an album of Alfred Thomas Ozanne entitled "Souvenir of the visit of the Federal Parliamentary Party to the Northern Territory April-May 1912". The Party are landing 80 miles upstream from the main landing near Brocks Creek on the Daly River.
Alfred Thomas Ozanne was the Federal Member for Corio in the House of Representatives from 1910 to 1913 and was presumably amongst the Party.
Physical Description
Black and white photograph adhered to Album (XP16239). Photo of a group of men, at the Daly River, some standing on the bank, in the shade of a tree, several standing on a pier and four other men in a dinghy near the bank.
Significance
The album and its images with captions provide a unique record and document of the visit of the Federal Parliamentary Party to the Northern Territory in 1912.
