Camera for Boxed Kodak Brownie Starlet Outfit with accessories, made by Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd in their Abbotsford factory in 1960.
This was the second camera model to be assembled, packaged and distributed by Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd. The Star series of cameras were assembled from more than 95% Australian parts. They were also the first low-priced cameras "designed to take color slides, as well as color and black-and-white snapshots".

This object is part of the Kodak Heritage Collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.

Small rectangular black plastic camera with viewfinder at top and lens in the centre. A black textile strap is attached on eack side.
