Summary

The album contains images of standing stones and dolmens from Stonehenge, Studland, Samares and Jersey in England and several un-named ruins, mostly dated 1925. On the inside back is a printed label and design with the following inscription: 'Gilbert Rigg His Book and 'I know noway of judging the future but by the past.'

Physical Description

Grey Linen hard-covered photographic album, entitled 'Photographs',with metal studs binding 12 pale beige card sheets. Album has 19 black and white photographs adhered to alternate pages. A loose photograph found with in the album is a copy from one of the mounted prints. Information relating to the photos, including the date, is recorded on the opposite pages on sheets of paper that have been adhered.
