A crowned silver and blue enamel voided badge with pin on back. At centre within an oval, AIF; around on blue background, ISSUED BY DEPT. OF DEFENCE . TO WOMEN OF AUSTRALIA .; below, FOR DUTY DONE. The reverse is stamped 118776 on the medal and 45059 on the bar; the makers name an metal , STOKES & SONS / MELB. / STG. SIL. at back of crown.
