A train emerging from mountains onto the plains with ocean at right; above on ribbon, EVERY MOUNTAIN SHALL BE MADE LOW; in exergue, MEDAL SERIES OF THE / US MINT / J. POLLOCK DIRECTOR; in small lettering below exergue line, the artist's name, W BARBER F.
