Summary

Letter from J. Hogan to Robert Salter, dated 16 February 1939. The letter contains a landing permit for Robert Salter's fiancée Miss I. Rosner. Robert Salter migrated to Australia from Austria, fleeing Vienna just before the German annexation of Austria in 1938.

Robert had applied for residency in Australia 5 months before leaving Vienna but found when he arrived in Brisbane that his application for residency had been rejected.
