Summary

Small poster promoting Kodak Verichrome Film. This would have been distributed by Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd to Kodak dealers and sales teams in the 1930s for display in their stores or shop windows. As this is very small, however, it may also have been a mock-up or draft copy for a larger in-store poster.

The poster is held in a scrapbook compiled by Kodak Australasia Sydney office titled 'General Window Bills (Pre-War)'. It contains10 colour gummed posters designed to be adhered to a shop window, which advertise Kodak film and camera products. Advertising slogans include 'We Sell Kodak Film. Developing. Printing. Enlarging', 'Kodak film makes every camera a better camera', and 'It's right for Australia... because it's made in Australia'.

This document is part of the Kodak Heritage Collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
