Summary

Colour proof copy of a small, printed Kodak notice/advertisement, likely to be printed on the leaflets or envelopes given to customers with their returned photographic negatives in the1930s. It instructs customers to carefully handle the negatives in their envelope and entrust the 'Kodak Panchromatic Service' when re-ordering prints or enlargements from the negatives.

The proof is held in a scrapbook compiled by Kodak Australasia. The scrapbook contains 37 colour, and black and white promotional leaflets, posters, stickers, negative and print envelopes, postal packaging for the Australian Photographic Review magazine, and trade circulars produced before World War Two.

This document is part of the Kodak Heritage Collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
