A souvenir booklet titled, "Welcome to Sunshine Massey Harris, Tractors Farm Machinery", printed by H. V. McKay Massey Harris Pty Ltd. The souvenir booklet was distributed in conjunction with a tour of the Sunshine Massey Harris Plant, Maylands, Western Australia. The booklet contains a greeting from L. T. Ritchie, managing director, a short history of the company, a map of the tour route and photographs of the Maylands site. This includes: who we are; a very forward "youngster"; red paint reliability; where service counts; what we make. The date 4 September 1956 is handwritten on the cover of the booklet.

This is part of a collection of photographs, negatives, moving film, artefacts, documents and trade literature belonging to the H. V. McKay Sunshine Collection. The Australian operations of the Sunshine Harvester Works were originally founded by Hugh V. McKay in the 1890s. The McKay collection is regarded as one of the most significant industrial heritage collections in Australia. In the 1950s, it was absorbed by Canadian firm Massey-Ferguson.

Physical Description

Three sheets of paper folded and stapled forming a booklet. Text and graphics are printed in black and yellow ink. The photographs on the cover pages are printed in black and yellow ink. Black and white photographs are printed throughout the booklet. Handwritten text appears on the front cover in grey pencil.
