Summary
A "Tour of Plant" booklet produced by Massey Ferguson. The booklet includes a tour plan of the Sunshine Plant and summary information on departments, products and manufacturing processes. This image is part of a collection of photographs, negatives, moving film, artefacts, documents and trade literature belonging to the H. V. McKay Sunshine Collection. The Australian operations of the Sunshine Harvester Works were originally founded by Hugh V. McKay in the 1890s. The McKay collection is regarded as one of the most significant industrial heritage collections in Australia. In the 1950s, it was absorbed by Canadian firm Massey-Ferguson.
Physical Description
Two sheets of off-white paper folded in half and stapled to form a booklet. A black and white photograph of the Sunshine Plant appears on the front and rear cover. Printed text, graphics and a tour route map of the Sunshine Plant is printed on the pages of the booklet in red and black ink. There is soiling on the outside and inside cover pages.
